[Helping Root] Vice President Testing Required for a CMM Level 5 Software MNC ! Mumbai

I represent Zend Consulting Services, a premier Executive Search Firm
specializing in IT and BFSI providing Middle and Senior Level Executive
Search services.

At this point of time we have been given a Mandate from our clients for
hiring a "VP Testing" for their organization. Our clients are an SEI CMM
Level 5 certified Software Multinational. These are Full time/permanent
positions based in Bombay and need to be filled in at the earliest.

The major responsibilities for this position would be:
- Head, managing a team of quality leads and testers, responsible for all
Testing and System Validation activities, Reporting to the Center head
- Devise Test Strategies and plans for multiple projects / releases
- Grow the Testing BU considerably
- Focus on problem areas; perform audits and reviews to ensure the offshore
teams are performing the work according to the requirements.

To qualify for these positions you should:
- Have a good educational background
- Have at least 8 to 18 years of Industry experience
- Have at least 4 years of current experience in the Testing Domain
- Have experience in Growing the Testing BU
- Have experience in both Manual and Automated Test environments
- Have very good understanding of the Process and Deliverables
- Preferably have some experience in Managing a Testing Center/Division
- Have good communication skills
