Our client is currently looking for Manager of Application Development to be responsibilities for designing, developing and maintaining custom applications and databases while establishing and enforcing best practices and standardizing the development platforms for all applications.
Our client is currently looking for Manager of Application Development to be responsibilities for designing, developing and maintaining custom applications and databases while establishing and enforcing best practices and standardizing the development platforms for all applications.
Responsibilities:
This person will be coding new enhancements and subsystems as well as helping to maintain and support the existing software.

· Develop new applications, ensure the timely delivery and quality of the application while maintaining and upgrading existing applications.
· Define measure and ensure service level expectations are met and support team managers in developing correction action plans as required.
· Maintain application inventory and lifecycle plan for all assigned applications and documentation for assigned systems.
· Responsible for reviewing maintenance strategies and providing support for meeting delivery schedules consistent with budgets, solution performance, availability and adaptability requirements.
· Communicate project progress as required to clients and management.
Ensure that production systems continue to meet customer needs during and after project implementations.
Experience Expected:
· Minimum of 8 years of business and technical experience, which should include applications development management and vendor relationship management.
· Experience developing and implementing corporate-wide compliance policies and procedures.
· Expertise in assigned group of applications/platform to provide application/platform service to multiple clients.
· Ability to see a project through from inception through implementation to the end.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education:
BA/BS degree with an emphasis in database management, information technology, and/or management information systems.
